Low Light Indoor Plant Tips

Keeping indoor plants alive can be a struggle when you don't have a ton of natural light to work with. My apartment especially has very little light, but I love my plant babies! Here are a few tips and tricks I've learned over the last few years.

1. Make the most of the sunlight that you DO have 

I have a skylight in my bathroom, and that's about the only source of direct sunlight I get here. I made the most of it by filling my shower with plants! They thrive in the shower, that's the place that they grow the best. 

2. Use grow lights

Grow lights are seriously so handy. They also have automatic timers and dimmers, so just set once and then forget about it! I have three different places in my house that I have grow lights, and they've been so great at keeping my plants alive. 

3. Fake plants! 

While I do love a good live plant, fake plants are also a great way to go. I have significantly more fake plants than I do real ones, and it helps to keep my apartment feeling lush and alive.
